Forging Supplier for Indian Valve and Pump OEMs

Indian valve and pump manufacturers — concentrated in Coimbatore, Chennai, Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Pune, Kolkata and Bangalore — supply domestic projects and export markets in oil & gas, power, water, chemicals and process industries. Their critical pressure-containing and rotating parts are forged: valve bodies, bonnets, balls, stems and seats for valves; shafts, impeller blanks and casings for pumps. A forging supplier with API, IBR and duplex experience shortens qualification and keeps export projects compliant.

Valve Forgings

Forged valve bodies are preferred over castings for high-pressure, high-temperature and sour service because they eliminate porosity and offer higher strength. Closed die forging suits series valve bodies; open die forging and machining suits large and low-volume bodies.

Pump Forgings

Pump shafts must resist fatigue and corrosion while staying straight. Forged and radial-forged shafts in 410, 17-4PH, duplex and alloy steels meet these needs. Forged casings and impeller blanks are used in high-pressure and boiler feed pumps.

Duplex and Super Duplex for Export Valves

Export valves for offshore and desalination often need F51, F53 or F55 with ferrite testing, ASTM G48 corrosion tests and NACE compliance.

Certifications Valve and Pump OEMs Need from Forging Suppliers

  • API approvals for oil & gas valve components
  • IBR approval for steam and boiler valves in India
  • NACE MR0175 / ISO 15156 for sour service
  • PED and third-party certification for European exports
  • EN 10204 3.1 / 3.2 documentation

Frequently Asked Questions

1.Are forged valve bodies better than cast bodies?+–
For high-pressure and critical service, yes. Forged bodies are dense and free of casting porosity, giving higher strength and leak tightness.
2.Do you supply API-compliant valve forgings?+–
Yes. Vinir holds API approval and supplies valve forgings to API requirements.
3.Can you supply IBR-certified valve forgings?+–
Yes. Vinir is IBR approved for pressure part forgings.
4.Do you supply finish-machined valve components?+–
Yes. Valve bodies, bonnets and stems can be supplied rough or finish machined.
5.Which duplex grades do you forge?+–
Including F51 (duplex), F53 and F55 (super duplex), with solution annealing and corrosion testing.
